You ever hear about enabling? It's the psychological concept that usually develops in relationships when one party is addicted and the other commits behavior that perpetuates the addiction while thinking it's for the best. It's true because PsychologyWiki told me so!
So, I bring this up because it's necessary to my Christmas miracle. Consider me plum flummoxed when trying to figure out if this amazing gift from my wonderful boyfriend counts as "enabling" or "thoughtful and sweet." My gut says both, and since '08, my gut has learned not to speak out of turn.
Yeah, that's right. The Paul Newman Tribute Collection, mothercussers. In all its 17-disc special features glory. There are Newman movies in there I ain't never ever heard of. Enabling? I think so. Unrelenting happiness? I know so. Christmas = SAVED!
It's sweet to think that even after all this time, and all this babbling, he still supports understands complacently accepts my doomed love for ol' Blue Eyes. Thanks, Bug!
