Commercials are supposed to make you want whatever contained inside them, right? Well, if these commercials for the EF International Language Centers are supposed to make me want to eat macarons on my balcony and arrive somewhere on a train in the rain, then job well done!
EF - Live The Language - Paris from Albin Holmqvist on Vimeo.
I kid. These are stylish, quasi-short films that neatly illustrate the fun of immersing yourself in a different culture, rather than trying to cull that language stuff from a book. It's like a play, people. You gotta live it, not read it! Not to mention the typography, which does a stellar job of teasing out the mood of each city/national language. There are four in all, for London, Beijing, Barcelona and of course, Paris.
Ima adopt a cat just so I can sing him that song. In other news, God, I love macarons. They're the tastiest of treats.
